Wrap It Up: Sewing Series for Confident Beginners (Pregnancy-Friendly!)

from $70.00

4-Part Garment-Making Series – Take One or Take Them All!

Join us for a creative and supportive sewing series designed especially with pregnant women in mind—though everyone is welcome! If you’re comfortable using a sewing machine and ready to deepen your garment-making skills, this class is for you.

In this 4-part series, we’ll explore the beauty and versatility of wrap garments—perfect for changing bodies, personal comfort, and timeless style. Wrap pieces are flattering, adjustable, and fun to sew. Each week, you'll complete a new project while building skills and confidence with pattern reading, sewing techniques, and garment construction.

What We’ll Make:

Wrap Skirt – A flowy, flexible classic -Simplest sewing

Saturday Sept 6, 1pm-4pm

Wrap Pants – Easy to fit and super stylish -Next step up in complexity

Saturday Sept 20, 1pm-4:30pm

Wrap Top – Layer-ready and adaptable -Moderate complexity

Saturday Oct 4, 1pm-5pm

Wrap Dress – A graceful wardrobe staple -Most advanced

Saturday Oct 18 & 25, 1pm-4pm

Sign up for just one class or take the whole series!

Each class will include demonstrations, guidance on fitting, and tips for modifying your garment to suit maternity wear, everyday comfort, or personal style. By the end of the series, you’ll have a handmade mini wardrobe you can wear proudly.

Prerequisites: Basic experience with a sewing machine (you should be able to thread your machine and sew straight seams). If you don't know how yet we offer a beginning sewing class. Check our website for our ever changing offerings.

Machines and basic sewing supplies are provided, but feel free to bring your own machine if you'd prefer to work on it. If you have a specific fabric in mind for your garment, you're welcome to bring it—we’ll send fabric suggestions ahead of each class so you can choose materials that suit your style and fit.

Perfect for: Expecting parents, caregivers, creative sewists, and anyone interested in sewing adjustable, beautiful garments.
