6-8pm on:
Tuesday January 6
Tuesday January 13
Tuesday January 20
Tuesday January 27
Join Fr. Theophan Mackey for a beginning wheel throwing class.
Intermediate Ceramics will take students from a place of making simple bowls and mugs to more challenging forms. Closed forms, lidded forms, and throwing off of the hump among other topics as they arise.
Basic throwing techniques will be assumed but not tested.
Come push yourself to bigger and better throwing.
Each student will be provided with clay during their class and guided on use of a ceramics studio with regards to safety and cleanliness. Please leave jewelry at home, or be prepared to safely store any rings or necklaces. Long hair should be pulled back off the face and it is recommended that nails be trimmed prior to throwing.
Each student should bring an apron or have clothing they are comfortable getting messy. Closed toed shoes are required in all Fuller Lodge Art Center Studios.
