Proportions of the Human Body - Nov 12 - Grades 1-3 & 4-8

Join us to learn about the basics of drawing people with realistic human proportions. We will break the body down into simple shapes and talk about the standard proportions that most bodies fit into. Once we have the basics down, students will create a drawing either using realistic proportions or exaggerating proportions to create unique characters. The class will primarily focus on realistic human proportions, but we will touch on styles like anime and manga that intentionally change the proportions for emphasis.

There will be a class for 1-3rd graders to introduce the very basics and a class for 4-8th graders to dive deeper into drawing techniques.
