Offering an ala carte version of our monthly membership, this open-ended studio program encourages imagination, exploration, and self-expression. Unlike traditional art classes, there are no planned projects or step-by-step instructions. Instead, students are free to choose their materials, follow their ideas, and create at their own pace.
A skilled art facilitator is always present to offer guidance, suggest techniques, and support creative problem-solving — without taking over the artistic process. Whether your child loves painting, building, drawing, or inventing, this studio is a place where they can experiment, take creative risks, and grow their confidence as independent makers and thinkers.
Best for families with students who only attend 1-2 times per month. If your student attends more days, consider a monthly membership which includes daily afterschool art studios and classes.

Weekdays that LAPS has school from 3pm-6pm. No studios on early release days or when LAPS or Los Alamos County facilities are closed. Please check the monthly calendar for more details.

Students will be supervised by a coordinator or teacher. Projects may not be stored more than one week.
