Community Art Programs: Adult Art Studios Fall 2025 ($15 drop in, FREE for CAP members)
Every Tuesday and Thursday join us at the Fuller Lodge Art Center for open studio hours from 6-8PM. We provide all the supplies and our studio coordinator will be on hand to lend a hand. These are not traditional classes. Our model for our these studio explorations is to “Come bored, leave creative.” If you’ve had a project in mind but need more space, or want to try a supply before investing heavily in it at home, these are the studios for you. Bring your friends and create fun projects together. Come alone and work in the quiet of one of smaller studio spaces. Our studio coordinator will be on hand to help you find supplies and gather feedback on supplies we may not have yet.
Minimum number of students: 4
OCTOBER
Tuesdays & Thursdays: Join guest artist Amber Word and dive into the playful world of fluid art in this four-week series.
Each class explores a different medium - watercolors, alcohol inks, and dyes - and how each one flows, layers, and surprises us on paper. You’ll discover soft watercolor washes, bold alcohol ink blooms, and luminous dye transparencies, all in a relaxed, beginner-friendly environment. And here’s the best part: there are no mistakes. If you don’t love your whole painting, you’ll learn how to crop out your favorite parts and transform them into giftable treasures like cards, bookmarks, magnets, jewelry, or ornaments. Come for one class or join them all - every session is designed to stand on its own while adding to a month of colorful exploration.
Beginning October 21:
Join award-winning miniature figurine painter Dharam Khalsa every other Tuesday for office hours beginning Oct 21. (Don’t miss out on our next intro class on the 18th!) For these biweekly office hours you can:
Bring your own projects, paints and supplies to work alongside an amazing artist
Ask for technique tips
Get guidance and feedback on your project
Enjoy demos from a seasoned professional!

These are an exploratory studio time and not pre-planned class curriculum. These programs are open to 18+ only. For teen and family studio times, make sure to watch our website. We ask that no alcoholic beverages be brought into our classrooms. Food and drink are allowed, but we do get small critter friends from time to time and ask that you clean up after your meal.
Studios are a cooperative space. We ask that you work with our studio coordinator to ensure supplies are cleaned and put away before you leave.
Membership discounts do not apply to studio explorations as these programs are already deeply discounted.
