Since 1967 the Los Alamos Arts Council has united the Los Alamos community through the arts. Our Mission and Vision would not be possible without the generous support of our partners and benefactors.

Century Bank is proudly sponsoring our 2nd Annual Pajarito Literary Festival and became a community partner leading the charge at our 30th Annual Kite Festival! We are so grateful not only for the finanical support, but for their companionship and good humor at our events. Thank you, Century Bank!

We have an entire community of business members, partners and sponsors who contribute to the wellness of our community by ensuring that arts and cultural program is accessible to everyone, regardless of income, age, or background. We truly feel so lucky to know we have so many great folks in our corner!

With funding from the Los Alamos Community Foundation and Anchorum Foundation, we have been able to expand mindfullness and resiliency through arts education programs for our community of youth. With a focus on 6th-9th grade, these programs are meant to combine fun arts based learning wtih mental health skills that lay a foundation for a healthier, more resilient, young person. The LACF was also instrumental in helping us to establish our seed fund which allowed us to mature an endowment which will ensure the longevity of all of the Arts and Cultural programming we provide year after year.

Thanks to a grant from the McCune Foundation, we are able to provide low cost afterschool art programs for youth and families and to expand our arts education programs to include our monthly Community Arts Programs and Studios. Their support ensures that classes have robust supplies, can remain affordable in these difficult financial times, and that we can continue to provide services to the communities in Northern New Mexico that wouldn’t have been possible without this support.

Thank you to the Emily Bradley Memorial Fund for a generous donation to our scholarship programs.

The Los Alamos Arts Council is committed to ensuring that no student is turned away from art education programs on site at Fuller Lodge Art Center. You can donate to our scholarship programs by clicking the link below or mailing payment to

The Los Alamos Arts Council operates three service contracts for Los Alamos County. These contracts include operating the Fuller Lodge Art Center Gallery and Education Programs, operating the Step Up Gallery inside Mesa Public Library, and operating a “performing arts” contract that includes all the fairs, festivals, concerts, and more for Los Alamos County. In return for those services, the Los Alamos County Community Services Department budgets a small amount of funding to our organization annually. Our Contracts with Los Alamos County as well as our most recent quarterly reports can be found here.
