A psyanka is commonly known as a Ukranian Easter egg, decorated using a wax-resist method. Students will learn the basics of this folk art using beeswax, traditional dyes, and a traditional drawing tool (kistka) and will create 2 to 3 decorated eggs during class.
Linda Zwick is a long-time teacher with the Fuller Lodge Art Center who annually brings a delight with her Pysanky Easter Egg Dyeing classes. This class is suitable for beginners and experts alike. All children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
